More Routines to Bring Peace to Your Homeĭaily Cleaning Schedule vs.Keep your cleaning supplies hand in each room.Monthly Tasks, Seasonal Cleaning, and Deep-Cleaning Tasks.Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Cleaning Schedules.Cleaning Routines for People Who Hate to Clean.Having a cleaning routine is a great way to keep a clean home without spending all of your time (and sanity) cleaning your house. I used it when we bought our first little house, in our nightmare split-level, and even when we lived full-time in an RV for over a year. Is it possible to spend only minutes a day cleaning my house, and it actually be clean?Īfter using my simple house cleaning schedule for over 10 years now, I can tell you, it works. When I learned about cleaning routines, I was a bit skeptical at first. I needed a way to keep a tidy home, while still living my real life–which involved a lot of chaos! Of course, I still wanted to keep a clean house, but the tasks seemed overwhelming. I could clean the whole thing in just a few minutes.Īs the years passed, our homes grew with more rooms and (thankfully) more counter space! Our family grew, too, which meant more laundry, more stuff to put away and there were always, always, crumbs on the floor. Our bathroom was only as wide as the tub, and our bedroom barely fit our full-size bed. Our washer and dryer were in the kitchen, and they often had to double as countertops because we only had one counter with the sink right in the middle. The other half was the kitchen and living room. Half of it was made up of two bedrooms and a bathroom. When my husband and I first got married we lived in a teeny tiny apartment over a two-car garage. Keep your home clean and tidy the easy way! I have a question, regarding the files available for purchase…what is the difference between the “standard and half sized sheets” are the half sized designed to be able to print nicely 2 two a page for a 5.5x 8 planner, or are you just saying that they can be reduced? I am looking for something that is already sized for me to print out, front and back, without a lot of headache…I have tried reducing other pages on my own and ended up with either a lot of paper in my planner, OR one page inevitably ends up printing upside down…AND i feel like I am playing russian roulette with the printer (will it print and look the way I want or will it flip it around, or will it print on something I have already printed?) I am starting to wonder if I will just be stuck with boring “Dayplanner” pages that don’t offer many other organizing options:o( Please let me know! I have been going back and forth for a month trying to decide it is worth it.If you hate to clean and feel overwhelmed at the thought of cleaning your whole house, a cleaning routine is just what you need! Same pdf printable, just a different size – pretty neat, huh? Then find the page layout section and reduce or enlarge your document to the desired size – I chose 5.5×8.5″ because that seems to be what most people want to change their printables to. Then instead of printing right away, go the the properties button. Go to ‘file’ and ‘print’ – just like you’d normally print a document. With a printables business, I’m bound to receive lots of printable-related questions, but the number one question is, “how do I change the size of my printables”, or “can I put your 8.5×11 pdf in my 5.5×8.5″ planner?” And the answer is YES! It’s super easy, and while all printers are a little different, hopefully my instructions will work for your printer too!įirst off, you need a pdf printable to try this out – go to my free printable page to snag one to try out, open it up and come back to this post.
